Dare to Overcome 2022 was the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation’s annual in-person global gathering to celebrate businesses that inspire mutual respect and allyship among diverse communities in the workplace and marketplace. Why? It’s good for business, the economy and society! At the annual gathering, top business leaders, Fortune 500 faith-oriented employee resource groups (ERGs) and corporate chaplains came together to share best practices and to build supportive, intersecting networks nationally and globally. Dare to Overcome (DTO) is the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation’s signature global conference, with the mission of shining a light on successes in promoting mutual respect and allyship among diverse communities.
Previous DTO conferences and awards were held in Rio (2016), Seoul (2018), Washington (2020) and Tokyo (2021).
In 2022, DTO is cosponsored by the Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America in Washington DC. DTO is the global convening point for Fortune 500 faith-and-belief employee resource groups (ERGs). Members of these ERGs will gather in support of their colleagues around the world and share best practices.
Other main partners include American Airlines and the Templeton Religion Trust. Corporate sponsorship packets are available for companies with faith-and-belief ERGs as well as from companies whose CEOs are previous Global Business & Interfaith Peace Award winners. For details, email Brian Grim.
