Emilee Pugh, Previous Research Assistant
Emilee Pugh was previously a Religious Freedom & Business Foundation Research Assistant working on the Empowerment+ initiative, and, at the time, a student at Brigham Young University.
Emilee claims Chewelah, Washington, as her home, but came to BYU in order to study English language, Editing, and Nonprofit Management, an unusual combination that perfectly feeds her passion for literacy and self-reliance. Books have enlightened and empowered her since her childhood, because she saw who she could become. From Bilbo Baggins’ blundering journey to Jane Eyre’s fierce integrity, she learned that we can control our destinies. Emilee’s main goal in life is to build people by helping them believe in their own power and teaching them the skills they need to succeed and, in turn, lift others.
