Alessio Atria, Editorial Assistant
Alessio Atria is a Religious Freedom & Business Foundation Editorial Assistant working on the Dare to Overcome initiative, and a student at Queens College.
He is summarizing the videos from Dare to Overcome to create a permanent record of the 2022 conference that also provides a high level summary of the video content. For example, see his summary: New Global Study Shows Journalists Need More Religious Literacy, a new Davis & Partners global study that discusses the news media’s perceptions of and often misunderstandings about faith. A summary of the findings was shared by the company’s founder and president, Jim Davis, during the opening lunch of Dare to Overcome, the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation’s annual faith@work conference, May 23-25, 2022
Alessio is entering his senior year at Queens College and is on the Dean’s List. He is also a film critic of the Queens College newspaper, The Knight News. Two films he has reviewed for The Knight News are “Joker” and “Onward”.
Alessio looks forward to doing more, especially since he has joined The Knight News Spring Internship (a three credit course).
