2022 Global Business & Intercultural Peace Award (Nomination Form)

Nominations are open for the 2022 Global Business & Intercultural Peace Awards. Business CEOs and Corporate C-Suite Leaders will be recognized for their work in intercultural understanding and peace. All of the leaders are recognized for using their businesses to build bridges of authentic connection between people of diverse backgrounds.

The awards will be presented by the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation at the global Dare to Overcome conference on May 24, 2022, which is held at the Busch School of Business at Catholic University in Washington, DC, in partnership with American Airlines.

History

The awards were established 2016. In 2021, they were held in Tokyo and virtually and were keynoted by former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. Awardees included the CEO of Intel and the Chairman of Tyson Foods, both Fortune 100 companies. Previous CEO recipients come from companies as diverse as Ernst & Young, Hyundai, Kimberly Clark, and Berkshire Capital, and countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Mozambique, Netherlands, UAE, UK & US. Awards were presented together with the UN Global Compact as part of former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s Business for Peace initiative in Rio (2016) and Seoul (2018). Beginning with the 2022 Awards, they will be given in Washington DC, and then move onwards to India in 2023.
