Clay Griffin Heater, B.A., Previous Research Assistant
Clay was previously a research assistant with the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation. Clay currently serves as the International Projects Manager for Асоціація міст України – Івано-Франківськ in Ukraine, a rural economic and municipal development agency based in Western Ukraine.
Originally living and working in Ukraine as part of the United States’ Peace Corps, Clay was evacuated due to COVID-19, but continues to serve his adopted community of Івано-Франківськ remotely from Washington D.C.
From Boston, Massachusetts, Clay pursued undergraduate study at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Grounding his academics in the field of ethnic conflict analysis, Clay conducted field research in West Africa before producing his thesis on the role of small business as a means of conflict mitigation.
