Justin Greene Receives American Airlines Award Tickets for His Work in Disability Inclusion

American Airlines Chief Customer Officer, Alison Taylor, awarded two business class tickets to Dare to Overcome in Tokyo to Justin Greene, based on the nomination of Dacia Cross, the head of an Interfaith Employee Resource Group (ERG) in San Antonio, TX, nominated her colleague, Justine Greene, head of the Disability ERG for the award.

Justin epitomizes the spirit the global event that celebrates how people with disabilities are not disabled, but instead have different, unique abilities, as Justine so powerfully shares in his acceptance speech.

American Airlines is the official airline of Dare to Overcome (22-24 August 2021), a biennial global business and peace festival in support of people with disabilities held in tandem with the Paralympic Games. It features the work of ERGs worldwide in making more equitable and inclusive workplaces.

The Award was based on nominations of Disability ERG members from Faith ERG members from the more than 75 companies participating in the 2021 National Faith@Work ERG Conference. Fr. Greg McBrayer, who was on hand to present the award to Justin, also spoke on a panel during the 2021 Faith@Work Conference, which you can see here.

To learn more, visit Dare to Overcome‘s website or see more about Dare to Overcome in the video below. It will be both virtual and in-person, for those who can travel to Tokyo.
