Religion in America: Decline Seems to Have Leveled Off

7 Apr, 2025

And the religiously unaffiliated population, after rising rapidly for decades, has leveled off – at least temporarily (see main report). These findings come from Pew Research Center’s 2023-24 Religious Landscape Study (RLS) and other Center polling. Learn more about the study at pewresearch.org/rls.
